Automated system controller

Every year we offer places for three motivated students to train as automated system controllers to EFZ level. We also cover the Swiss “M-Profile” (professional maturity level) for students meeting the appropriate academic standards.

Automated system controllers ensure that the production lines operate correctly. They help to improve processes, monitor quality in accordance with the production order, and work in teams and shifts. The topics for this fascinating training programme range from setting and controlling systems to materials engineering and maintenance, and safety, hygiene and environmental protection. The learning objectives are in accordance with the curriculum. Throughout the training period, the trainees are looked after and supervised by skilled vocational trainers.

Trainees are selected in the year before the training course starts. Short-listed school-leavers are invited to participate in trial apprenticeship days.
