Founded in 1991, Europacable is the voice of all leading European wire and cable producers. Europacable members include the largest cable makers in the world providing global technology leadership, as well as highly specialized small- and medium sized businesses from across Europe.

The VSE is the industry association of the Swiss electricity industry with headquarters in Aarau. In addition, the VSE is represented in the French-speaking part of Switzerland by its branch in Lausanne and by a close cooperation with ESI in Ticino. Since the beginning of 2014, VSE has also an office in Bern. Its members guarantee over 90 percent of the Swiss power supply.
